Artistic Director - Shane Dempsey
Shane first experienced the power and joy of theatre with Mary Cummins'
GABLE YOUTH THEATRE. He was honoured when requested by Mary to continue
her work with young people in Clonmel. Mary Cummins remains a guiding
light and a source of continued inspiration for all at Stage Craft
Youth Theatre.
Shane graduated from DIT's Drama department in 2001 and
recently completed a MASTERS in Theatre Directing at East 15 Acting
School London.
Since graduating he has co directed with Simon Dunmore The E15
PG actors Showcase at The Criterion London. He also worked as a line
producer on The Tricycle and NHS co production of FAMILIES HELPING
FAMILIES. He recently worked as an assistant director on 'MOONWALKING
IN CHINATOWN' at Soho Theatre. Earlier this year he assisted Nicolas
Kent on 'CALLED TO ACCOUNT'and Jamie Lloyd on 'THE CARETAKER' at The
Tricycle Theatre.
SKOLKA toured during the summer of 2007 to Belgium, Ireland and
Edinburgh Fringe Festival . A recent review described the show as ''{A}
physically enthralling piece... The actors' deliberate over the top
delivery acts like the pro-plus of theatre, providing an instant energy
boost."

Shane had also written numerous works for young performers including: THE

ADVENTURE, THE DROUGHT OF THE COMANCHEES + THE WOODCUTTER AND THE
PRINCESS.

Keith Greene Keith recently completed a four year degree
in music in UCC and graduated with honours. He is currently studying in
Trinity College Dublin, training to be a seconday school teacher,
specialising in music and english. He is Field Commander of Banna
Chluain Meala and have accompanied the band to victory in the Irish
marching band championships in 2006/07.Keith was a member of Stage
Craft from 1998 to 2006.

Lisa O Brien
Lisa was a member of Stage Craft Youth Theatre from 1998 to 2005. She is currently studying in UCC majoring in Philosophy and Leann Duchais. She is currently the assistant director on CHILDREN AT WAR.
